Holocaust and its Importance to the Jews

The “Holocaust” is technically defined as the “Nazi persecutions of European Jews and other minorities that began in Germany in February 1933 and was expanded throughout Europe until the Allied liberation in May 1945, wherein approximately six million Jews were murdered” (The Holocaust n. p. ). Importance to the Jews The aforementioned terrible annihilation of so many Jews is still of continuous concern for these people simply it may happen again. It is very easy for the holocaust to again. “Why” you may ask? This is because of the following reasons:

First of all, it is very easy to discriminate the Jews, for instance, through envy (Why do People Hate the Jews n. p. ). See, the Jews are generally well off; their economic status is more than we can imagine (Why do People Hate the Jews n. p. ). Second, Jews say that they are “the chosen ones” and so other devotees of other religions are angered by this simple reason as well (Why do People Hate the Jews n. p. ). Third, since it has already been a habit that whenever there is a negative occurrence, Jews are the ones who are blamed then it is just easy to turn to them as a “scapegoat” anytime (Why do People Hate the Jews n.

p. ). Last but not least, Jews are always discriminated upon because of the fact that they do not believe in Jesus, they do not believe in the second coming, etcetera which the general public really disagrees upon (Why do People Hate the Jews n. p. ).
