One major literary or religious work that has so often lead scholars and common individuals alike to plunge into the murky depths of morality is the Bible. In the Bible, the Book of Job is interpreted in various ways, such that in one perspective it is has been seen as a magnificent work of literature exemplifying the notion on human suffering as either justified or not.

Literary critics have proposed several interpretations on the Book of Job where they analyze the details of the story in ways common to literary standards .
