In the named jewellery company there are various elements which will determine the behavior of the people working in the accounting department. First and foremost the number of people working in this department is very minimal and this will affect their relations with the other people who are working in the same company. This is because the accountants are well specialized to only work in the accounts department thus it limits their work area to only accounting. On the other hand the persons in the accounts office will be highly affected by factors such as their personalities, their perceptions as well as the company’s attrition.

The personalities of the accountants in the workplace will greatly impact and influence their overall satisfaction in their work place. The personality traits such as assertiveness, cooperativeness, dependability self confidence and curiosity will form a basic frame work in modeling their behavior in the workplace. The accountant’s perception also plays a very key role in the determination of their behavior in the company especially that there are many more perceptions which are made when perceiving people.

They are important in relation to the vision of the organization. The organizational values are more than words, they are the moral ethical and the professional attributes of an individual’s character and they are central to any organization.

Perceptions The environments and the social settings are what make up the social perception. Since the accounts department deals with activities such as invoicing billing and also payroll and they involve numerous contacts with other people and so their first impression as part of the social perception is very important. Efficient and effective communication can be hindered by the differences in the languages used by different people. The language barriers can be hard to get over especially if someone is speaking a different language that you do not easily understand. Nonverbal Communication The nonverbal communication in an organization involves the elements of communication which do not involve words or speech. They involve the body movements and expressions which are made without speaking and they greatly vary with the cultural background of an individual.

The elements of communication can greatly impact an individual’s behavior in managing the organizational behavior. They include; communicator, receiver, perceptual screens and the message. The receiver is the person who listens or receives the messages if the receiver does not receive the correct information there will be a communication breakdown. Similarly the perceptual screens which are the channels through which people interact have a very large impact on how the messages are sent or even received.

The message itself should also have two working components which are the perceptual and the emotional components. In communication the feedback is equally important as the correct feedback ensures that the messages sent are clear and they have been received as they were sent and that one party is not under the wrong impression.
