The academe world has always been a challenge for numerous people. Like any other individual, I have always been in search of what could be my stairway towards success. I received my High School diploma from the Notre Dame Academy in Wisconsin, Iowa, in 1999 before moving to Carthage College.

From 2001-2004, I was employed as an Office Assistant for the Green Bay Plastic Surgical Associates. In 2004, I took the opportunity to enlist in the Army and become of service to my countrymen. I was deployed in Afghanistan as in the Infantry 11B department. I was team leader to 12 soldiers, and I was responsible for conveying operations and various ground patrols. At the same time, I was tasked to be in charge of controlling, maintaining and the accounting of over $5 million worth of government property. The task allowed me to see beyond what was taught to me in the confines of the four walls of the classroom.

In 2007, I went on to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Saint Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. I took this opportunity to redeem myself by indulging in both co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. I am a member of the Psychology Club, and an Honorary member of the Psi Chi.
