Being the seniors of AllSafe Insurance Company, the vice president of sales and the president of D & M’s largest competitor should not have discussed their course of action in the plane. More specifically, the two seniors of AllSafe Insurance Company should not have revealed their deals while still in the plane. In this case, their action reveals a high degree of unprofessional dealings and lacking ethics in their business dealings.
By discussing their main course of action while still in plane, their action can be viewed to endanger their own company as they ignored any possibility of having their competitor’s representatives. Their action of discussing the strategic plans for their business such public places like in the plane can be described as a high degree of unethical considerations. On the other hand, Rowland can be presented to be exercising a degree of unethical consideration as he makes some business decisions without consulting his seniors.

In this respect therefore, Rowland fails to adhere to ethics in business operations in terms of decision making by deciding for the company without prior consultations. As it is evidenced by his manger becoming angry as a result of his action, Rowland can be described as haven ignored the role of protocol in business dealings; which further expresses his unethical considerations.
Perhaps, Bloom, being Rowland’s manager is entitled to taking various measures against the action taken by Rowland of making decisions without his consent. By reducing the prices of their policies, D & M Insurance Company would have effectively competed against AllSafe Insurance Company; which would further place its reputation higher against its competitors. Generally, Rowland’s information would be expected to impact positively in the field as more customers would be expected to purchase the company’s policies to a greater extent.
Given all the issues involved, an ideal course of action is required in this situation so as to ensure that; ethical considerations are met so as to ensure all issues are effectively resolved. By so doing, the company would have increased their chances of an effective competition given that; their opponents had known their plans. Generally, the vice president of sales and the president of AllSafe Insurance Company should not have discussed their strategic courses of action while still in the plane that; they needed to change their plans once they find that they have been leaked.
