TRACs believes that every individual deserves a chance in life. It is unfortunate that others have had to encounter misfortune but TRACs believes that it can give these people a better future by creating opportunities and giving them the tools needed to succeed in life. Oftentimes, the homeless are unable to get the physical, mental and emotional support needed to alleviate their situation; this is where TRACs comes in. TRACs for the Homeless is a Grass Roots based organization that recognizes its responsibility to the local communities.

In carrying out this mandate, TRACs is engaged in developing a sociological way of addressing the needs to communities by helping the homeless get a chance in life through enhancement of skills and by providing resources that they are otherwise unable to find. Give a man fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man how to fish, he eats for a lifetime. Vision: TRACS is not just a center that gives food and money to the homeless. It is a center where people can come to learn and develop their skills.

It is a people network that allows those that have to lend a helping hand to those that don’t have. It is a collaboration of all members of the community that promotes livelihood and encourages people to take a proactive role in their lives.
