Graduate early

While studying, I made a personal pledge to graduate early. Time came that I am graduating early and I am faced with a critical decision that could alter the rest of my life. At that point in time, all of my friends were going to schools abroad that really offered them nothing in terms of their majors. As a result, they just took the easy classes. With all my peers leaving the country to study abroad, I was faced with a problem.

Should I decide to study abroad or not? Studying abroad can be a good experience for me, but the downside, I will miss out on graduating earlier. Also, I will miss out on all the benefits of graduating early which I worked hard for. After some thinking, I have arrived at a decision. Why do I have to choose when I can have both? I enrolled in a Study Abroad Program. I was able to study abroad and work towards graduating early all at the same time.

I have learned a lot of important things from this experience. I learned that decision-making is not always easy and the choices are not just black and white. Sometimes, you have to look at the situation in a different light. Aside from the black and white areas, there are gray areas; and sometimes, the best choice lies in these gray areas. You only need just have to learn how to look and not to limit your choices.
