Economic Environment of Business

I am YING YU, 26 years old and a graduate of BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance at the University of Hertfordshire. I am planning to study for a Master’s Degree soon, and because of my great stay at the University of Hertfordshire, it inspires me to pursue my Master’s at the said institution. It is in this regard that I would like to apply for a post-graduate study at the University of Hertfordshire on Master’s in Management/Accounting. I believe that this university will equip me more with knowledge and skills that will prepare the path for my chosen career in the future.

A master’s degree in Management/Accounting will expose me more to the latest trend in the world market and other business management related topics. Also, such degree will help me run our family business as well as enhance my skills in marketing and accounting. Being a graduate of the University of Hertfordshire, it will not be difficult for me to adjust with the culture and the academic standards of the university. I have been a good student with no derogatory records and my grades are doing well.

Furthermore, I was able to take up management-related subjects such as Skills for Accountants, Economic Environment of Business, Principles of Corporate Finance, Financial Statements I and II, Accounting Techniques, and Skills for Accountants. Meanwhile, I am a very harworking and friendly person who enjoys working, studying, and good company. My work experiences (part-time jobs) construed my being a good team player by maintaining a harmonious relationship with my co-workers and supervisors.

Also, I am a well-organized person and a critical thinker. During my spare time, I like to read books and magazines (especially those that deal with world affairs, current events and economic issues), and to watch movies and surfing the internet. Aside from that, I also love to play sports, especially badminton. I hope that you will consider this application of mine. I am really interested to take-up Master’s in Management/Accounting. As a student, I will not fail the well-respected academic institution of the University of Hertfordshire.

I will study hard so that, in the future, I can make use what I have learned in helping mold our society to a better place to live.
